With the addition of saxophonist Otoe Mori in 2020, Smooth Jazz Alley - led by founder and keyboardist/producer Marco Montoya and longtime drummer/producer Kevin Lewis- took their hard hitting, funked out game to a higher level and kept the hits flowing - to the tune of 3M+ streams on Spotify! While they invited genre stars (Jessy J, Blake Aaron, Nathan East) to play on previous recordings, SJA's latest single, the high-spirited, relentlessly throbbing, sax and piano driven "Come On!," emphatically showcases the melodic and improvisational energy of the current eight-piece band, including guitarist Matt Godina, bassist Darryl Anders and percussionists Michael Parlett and Ronnie Gutierrez.
